Buying

Our Buying Team work closely with UK suppliers from all of the major food companies and nations of the world. Our extensive group connections, size and stability allows us to negotiate and deliver to you the best food deals around, at the most competitive price.

As important to you and your customers as the value of their meals, is how the ingredients are sourced, what they contain, how they are produced and how healthy they are? Our expert Buying Team take our responsibilities to our customers, and to your diners, very seriously indeed. That's why we have formed working partnerships with producers, suppliers and distributors, on both local and global levels, to ensure that we deliver on these promises to you.

Sales

Every dbc customer has a dedicated telesales contact at their local branch. This ensures continuity and helps form a relationship between you and us at each dbc foodservice order point. We pride ourselves in forming partnerships with our customers rather than simply supplying them. Every one of our local sales team is professional, experienced and courteous, whilst being extremely knowledgeable about the foodservice arena.

Customers can call their nominated sales person to place their order, or we can arrange to call you at a pre-determined date or time each week to ensure minimum disruption is caused to your busy working schedule. Calling at a pre-agreed 'quieter' times allows you to concentrate on your own business!

Customer Services

Based centrally within the UK we have built a dedicated team of experienced customer service operatives who are available to deal with all issues relating to your placed orders, problem products and delivery logistics, to ensure that your business continues to run as efficiently as our's does.

In such a busy and challenging environment each member of the team will be able to take your call or email and deal with your problem timely and efficiently, agreeing with you an appropriate course of action and timeline within which to resolve the issue you may have.

Distribution

All stocks of our extensive range of leading brand and own label, fresh, chilled, frozen and ambient products are held at our strategically-located regional depots, each making use of the latest multi-temperature technology, to ensure produce is stored in the optimum freshest state whilst awaiting onward delivery.

Using the latest warehouse management methods, orders can quickly and efficiently be picked, packed and processed, and made available for immediate next day despatch in one of our eco-friendly fleet of multi-temperature vehicles, shipped to your premises within the pre-agreed afternoon or twilight delivery windows we are able to offer for your convenience.

Marketing

Our Marketing Services team produce a selection of regular promotional and support materials to help our customers with product selection, menu planning, recipe ideas and seasonal promotions.

In an environment where the successful promotion of your catering premises can be as important to its success as the food itself, we can provide expertise and assistance with menu development, including a design, copywriting and photography service.
